Plant Spirit Medicine Trillium

Trillium is an important woman's medicine aiding in balancing both the female reproductive and urinary systems. Trillium flower essence assists one in understanding the bounty of love, abundance, and earthly pleasures. The Trillium flower essence offers the virtues of balance between the material plane and the spiritual plane.

My first experience with the Spirit of Trillium was in the location I will be sharing this experience with you. It was a quiet sunny day when the forest became alive with the wind dancing through the fields of trilliums. It was a carpet of green, white, and red. I felt this energy erupt in me and the furry of spirit engulfed me. I felt euphoric, light, energized, yet in a daze. Then in the chaos of excitement, I heard them sing. They sounded like Angels in a cathedral. It was bright and breezy and I took a deep inhale as I realized I too was singing. No words came from my lips, only the sound of high vibrations as Trillium lifted my spirit to hers. I left the woods a new woman. 

Our day will begin with a warm tea and opening circle of what brought us together before diving deep into the science of the Trillium species that reside in the spaces we share, their growing conditions, how to identify, harvest, and parts used. We will discuss the traditional and modern uses of trillium in folklore, herbal, and/or homeopathic medicine and how this fits into our practice. I invite you to explore the wisdom stories of our natural world and how they have shaped our collective memory. By honoring the roots of our shared story and the many cultures that created them we can begin to heal the separation that exists within ourselves and our world. By understanding the true nature we can rewrite the stories that have separated us, into stories that can unite us.

This in-person Plant Spirit Medicine Workshop allows us on the full moon to create a Trillium Flower Essence. We will practice the medicine-making ritual, and relax into a state of consciousness through a guided meditation before we receive a Trillium Spirit Medicine Energy Transmission. 

When the Transmission is complete we will spend some silent time journalling our experience while it is fresh in our mind as we sit among the local Trillium fields. Warm tea will be available throughout this time. We will gather to nourish ourselves with our packed lunch and share.  As a collective experiencing the Spirit Medicine of a Trillium, we will weave our stories together in sharing to validate and strengthen our knowing.

Welcome to our Plant Spirit Medicine Experience by an experienced herbalist and reiki practitioner.  This experience is designed for all beings who:

- wants to experience the healing power of plant medicine

- is open to receiving energy healing transmissions

- have an interest in plants

- has an interest in energy healing

- wants to build a community of like-minded friends

Join us to experience the fundamentals of energy healing, learn about the properties of a specific plant, and discover how to harness their energy for healing purposes. Whether you're just starting your journey or have some knowledge in this area, this experience is perfect day for you.

You will want to pack a bag with:

- a lunch that will nourish you

- water for hydration

- cup/mug for tea

- blanket (it may be cool sitting in the woods)

- paper/journal and pen/pencil 

- toilet paper

- something to sit on (it may be wet in the woods)

- wear appropriate clothing (you can take layers off)

- wear appropriate footwear for your comfort

We will do our best to avoid muddy paths and puddles but it may not be possible this time of year on the trails of the Carolinian Rain Forests. Note that there are no restrooms in the forest, we will practice 'leave no trace' by burying our waste in dirt and leaf litter. Toilet paper will be provided.
