Reflexology   is a non-invasive, safe, complementary modality using acupressure points on the body to support the body in its natural healing. Reflexology effects the body through reflex effects meaning that by applying pressure to the local areas on the hands/feet/head the organs within the same channel are stimulated to activate your body's own healing process.

Reflexology improves relaxation, sleep, general wellness, and specific ailments through specific, intentional techniques on areas being treated. Our Reflexologist is trained in reflexology techniques & Indian Head Massage for relaxation, lymphatic drainage, fertility & maternity, and specific ailments. All three areas of focus are recommended for general relaxation, treating stress related injuries, sleep concerns, anxiety, depression, edema, increasing circulation, and/or disfunction/injuries to the local area. Neck & Head is also locally indicated for TMJ discomfort, history of headaches, eye strain, and/or sinus relief.

​Foot Reflexology has a focus on the lower limb (below the knee) & feet. Each appointment begins with a relaxing foot  bath with Epsom salts and selected additives such as herbs and/or essential oils.

 

Hand Reflexology has a focus on the upper limb (arm, forearm, & hand).

Neck & Head Reflexology has a focus on the neck, shoulders, scalp, and face. I use a combination of Indian Head Massage techniques and reflexology. See Indian Head Massage for a more detailed description.

Indian Head Massage has a focus on shoulders, neck, scalp, & face. Using a variety of ancient Indian Head Massage techniques on the scalp & involving the hair (not required) with intentional focus on acupressure points of the neck, head, & face to stimulate the body's own healing process and promote relaxation. Oil is used on the skin but is optional to be used on the scalp and as a hair treatment. There is always the risk of some oil getting into the hair. To book a single session select 'Indian Head Massage', any other combination of services, book, select the appropriate time under Reflexology.

Reiki can be added within the appointment timeframe at no additional cost.

Reiki is a Japanese technique where the practitioner is used as a conduit for the universal lifeforce energy and supports the client into a relaxed state to help clear their own energetic pathways. I use my experience from Reiki, energy modalities, and teachings from local traditional peoples in my practice.  Reiki/Energy Sessions are done fully clothed and can be added to any session during the appointment time free of charge or as a single session at 30min for $50 and 60min for $80.

To prepare for any session you will be provided with time to take off any jewelry (including hair accessories) and remove or adjust clothing to provide access to the specific area to be treatment. Please prepare by wearing appropriate clothing. If you prefer to remove layers, this is optional.
