Herb Spiral Co-Creation & Workshop - St Thomas

Join us for Herb Spiral Workshop with hands on experience as we co-create a community culinary & tea perennial herb spiral at the Kains Street Community Gardens.

EDUCATION:  Learn the basic concepts of an herb spiral, how to choose the location & plants for your garden, and the ongoing maintenance of the garden. You will also be introduced to native plants that can be good substitutes for culinary herbs and herbal teas. 

SKILLS: Hands on experience co-creating & building a community herb spiral for the Kains Street Community Garden. 

COMMUNITY: Meet other like minded folks, spend the day with your community and give back. This garden is for those who have paid plots and for harvest to supply herb packages to the local food bank and will support funding the project of a pollinator garden. 

TAKE HOME: You will go home with an herb plant for your own herb garden. With the knowledge, skills, and community you gain from this day, you will be ready, willing, and able to begin your own project!

All proceeds go towards supplies for the creation of the community garden herb spiral and the Elgin County Pollinator Team's Pollinator Garden located at the Kains Street Community Gardens.
