About the event
Guided Wellness Walk - A Community Guided Forest Therapy Session. All dates for 2024 are listed and available for registration.
The effects of a forest therapy session last up to 30 days, so we have booked one for almost every month throughout the year! Forest Therapy Sessions guide you in a meditative walk through the forest, inviting you to engage with nature through your natural senses for a deeper connection, and activation of your parasympathetic nervous system for deep relaxation. When we activate our parasympathetic nervous system we enter rest & digest, the state in which our body can heal.
The final invitation is to take in the forest through a guided tea meditation of herbal tea with an herbalist. We enter the mind again to discuss the wonderful uses of a local magical plant and local farm-grown snacks.
