We are nature and connecting with nature, enlivening our natural sensory self, and engaging with the natural world around us activates our parasympathetic nervous system, our rest & digest state, for healing. It increases our creativity, improves productivity, and fosters a sense of belonging and general wellbeing.

My name is Ashley Park, Wellness and Forest Therapy & Nature Connection Practitioner, Founder Forest Therapy Elgin.  I have been using nature based therapy in my work since 2014 and opened my practice to the public in as Forest Therapy Elgin in 2020 as the first active Certified Forest Therapy Guide in Elgin County. I offer a range of private individual services and  EVENTS providing a spectrum of nature connection for beginners to advanced levels, all ages, abilities, and levels of engagement. I continue to build collaborations throughout Elgin County to bring the highest quality nature connection programming to our community.

IN THE TREAMTMENT ROOM: 

I offer nature-infused Reflexology and Reiki in a downtown St Thomas multidisciplinary clinic (Simply Massage & Associates) to allow you that well-deserved "put my feet up and recharge" mid-day, midweek pause.

ON THE LAND

Offerings on the land for individuals and groups range from specifically curated custom programs to re-occuring public events.  I have access to public parks to guide the community in areas they can access regularly as well as private land owner locations just outside of St Thomas, On. 

EMPLOYERS, BUSINESS OWNERS, AGENCIES, & ORGANIZATIONS

You can now offer wellness day and programs their employees to prevent burnout and promote a healthy working environment. Corporations, businesses,  and organization can now offer their communities custom events that promote wellness of the individual, our county, our local ecosystems, but also the planet and our commitment to truth and reconciliation.

Who is booking a guide? 

 Retreat & wellness event coordinators,  businesses, schools, church groups, municipalities, nature clubs, homeschool groups, resource centers. What do they have in common? A desire to offer their community an organic, natural way of reducing stress that is beneficial to the individual, the community, and the environment.

INDIVIDUALS

People are booking one time public events that are offered throughout the seasons. I also offer one-on-one private bookings for services whether you are looking for a one off sessions or for an ongoing guided experience. Sessions are available at private and public locations across Elgin County and are chosen based on accessibility and your individual needs. Ongoing guided experiences are similar to coaching complete with a Wellness Plan and include additional check-ins for encouragement and accountability to allow you to thrive in this fast paced society.
